STRUCTURAL FLOOR BEAMS

Wide dimension glulam beams create a solid floor, and provide a ceiling that exposes the beauty of the structural materials. For a natural and environmentally friendly finish, we recommend Osmo clear or color oil-wax products.

SOUND INSULATION (OPTIONAL)

Sound batts can be installed between floor beams and enclosed with removable drywall panels. This may be desired for home theaters, family rooms, home offices, kitchens, bedrooms and laundry rooms—wherever noise control is needed.

1” THICK SANDED PLYWOOD

The structural Radiata Pine plywood can be finished with Osmo oil-wax products and used as the finish floor. This can provide a suitable floor for many years, although not quite as durable as other material options.

Any choice of tile, carpet, or hardwood flooring products can be added. Alternatively, finish flooring materials can be installed at a later time, saving up-front costs when building your new home.
